Sherri-Lynne was born and raised in a small town south of Ottawa. She went to the University of Ottawa and graduated magna cum laude from the Classical Studies program.  Sherri-Lynne obtained her RIBO licensen in January 2010 and became an employee of a small brokerage.  She joined the team at Binks Personal in December 2011.
